Blogging Tips for Beginners and Professionals

Difference Between Regular and Professional Bloggers

I’m sure that you want to know what’s exact difference between regular and professional blogger. First of all, blogger is a person which has own blog and which update it making own unique posts. Today, there are millions of bloggers around the world, and I’d categorize all into two different categories – Regular and Professional bloggers.

Regular bloggers are bloggers which have blogs on some free blogging systems and which get’s few visitors per day. Unfortunately, most bloggers today fits in this category. In most cases, these bloggers has blogs on some free services like on Blogger, Wordpress or any other free blog hosting solutions.

Professional bloggers are bloggers which makes much money to cover all expenses or even live from their own blogs. Professional bloggers have blogs with loads of traffic and visitors per day. Giving them opportunity to convert these visitors to a money.

Regular Bloggers

Regular bloggers usually posts on free blog hosting companies like Wordpress or Blogger. Usually, they doesn’t even have own domain names and they are hosted under sub-domains.

Regular bloggers in most cases takes a post ideas from other places on the internet. And also creates non-unique posts and articles.

They are limited because of many reasons, including limitations of free hosting providers including:

  • Subdomains – Subdomains are very bad choice. Try to buy some domain name for your blog – they are very cheap these days.
  • Limited Customization – Most free hosted blogging services doesn’t allows you to use or create your own theme or design for your blog. You are limited to use only free themes which they provide to you.
  • Making Money – Some free blogging services doesn’t even allows you to earn money from your blog. This is also very bad thing. With my previous Blogspot blog, I’ve made over $ 500 completely for free. Why not to make money while you can!

Professional Bloggers

Professional bloggers are using professional hosting companies and pay them to host their blogs. Also, professional blogger won’t ever have a blog under some sub-domain name.

Professional bloggers are professional just because they post their own and unique articles. These posts needs to be useful and professional too. So to be a pro, you need to have some writing skills and know exactly what to post anytime.

Because of custom and paid hosting, they are allowed to fully customize (or even create) their own blogging systems, without any limitations or restrictions.
